Finger painting

The only safe way to paint these days is to finger paint in the bath tub. Juliet loves to mix the colors and use the paint brush to swish all the paint around.

Weeks Worth of Fun

A typical week for the Grillot girls: going to the park, playing in Juliet's room with the ball, and otherwise having a grand old time! What a life!

Florida - Mote Marine Laboratory

We made a trip into Sarasota to visit the Mote Marine Laboratory on City Island. We saw more Bottlenose dolphins, manatees, and sharks. Juliet was THRILLED to see all the fish, and especially the two manatees.

Florida

After an uneventful flight from Baltimore to Sarasota, we spent the first couple of days on the Beach in Casey Key. We walked in the sand and played on the really cool playground equipment. Shells and fossilized shark's teeth are scattered along the soft sand. Casey Key is teaming with wildlife: pelicans, egrets, crabs, mackerel, and DOLPHINS! Here are a few shots from our first day here.

White House

The moms and eight babies from the Capitol Hill playgroup went on a tour of the White House. All those babies were quite a hit with the staff and security. We toured the Green Room, Blue Room, and the Red Room. We also toured the East Room, known for hosting televised musical performances including our good friend Bob Dylan. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet the President or Mrs. Obama. Juliet would have preferred a visit from Bo.
